Waters' Supporters Burn American Flag

Maxine Waters’ supporters set fire to the American flag outside the Democrats LA office Thursday to counter an anticipated protest by a far-right group who never showed up.

The Daily Mail reports a few dozen people made their rebellious appearance after the Oath Keepers group said they would gather to protest Waters calling for her supporters to harass Trump administration officials.

Photographs captured outside Waters’ office show her supporters stomping on the American flag, setting it on fire, and then cheering when it erupts into flames.

The Democratic counter protesters were heard chanting, 'This is not the American flag, this is their flag.'

The group had been shouting a slew of other slogans such as 'black power' and 'Resist!'
