#WalkAway Movement to Abandon Liberalism Goes Viral

A new movement that began with a Facebook video featuring a gay hairdresser in New York City has gone viral online and beyond.

Breitbart reports the #Walkaway movement started when Brandon Straka explained in the video he is walking away from liberalism and the Democratic Party because he “reject(s) a system which allows an ambitious, misinformed and dogmatic mob to suppress free speech, create false narratives, and apathetically steamroll over the truth.”

According to the Epoch Times, some five million people on Facebook and YouTube have seen the video.

Straka called the exodus away from liberalism “so much more than a hashtag on Twitter.” He said the “grassroots movement…is going to change the political landscape of this country.”
