The Kings’ Nutcracker Suite’ A Cappella Christmas Song From Kings Return

Four supremely talented young men, Kings Return, turned in an utterly delightful and awe-inspiring Christmas-themed musical performance.

There are several Christmas-themed films and songs that are heard and watched every single year. For some families, listening to those songs or viewing those movies and television specials has basically morphed into an annual tradition.

Some of those beloved Christmas songs come from the classic Nutcracker ballet. There are several tunes from that work that most are likely familiar with but do not realize it came from a ballet. In a clip posted on YouTube, the group Kings Return performs those memorable and classic tracks a cappella.

The nearly 4-and-a-half-minute video features four talented gentlemen displaying their God-given gift for sound. The sound the guys create is literal music to the ears. It’s so soothing, calming and pleasant. One could easily listen to these guys for hours without ever getting tired of their sound.

Not only do the four guys sound terrific, but the video is also a sight to behold. Viewers get one shot after another of a stunningly beautiful restaurant decorated in Christmas décor and an apartment adorned with wreaths, lights and a Christmas tree.

As viewers listen and watch the Christmas-themed clip, they’ll be immediately overwhelmed with the holiday spirit, feeling as if they are now fully ready for the Christmas season. Christmas and all the fun and excitement that typically accompany the holiday season and Christmas Day radiates from that video.

Likely, while listening and watching Kings Return beautifully and masterfully perform the songs from The Nutcracker, a strong feeling of nostalgia will wash over you. Memories and images of Christmases long past will come rushing back. You’ll unexpectedly find yourself wanting to go back and relive and experience those special Christmas celebrations for just a few moments.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Quartet Of Men Sings ‘Christmas Everyday’

A group of four musically gifted men, The Overtones, gave an upbeat and catchy performance, singing how they wished they could experience the joy and warmth of Christmas every single day of the year.

As everyone already knows, Christmas is, unfortunately, just one day out of the year. However, for many people, it’s likely the most anticipated day on the calendar. It’s a chance to spend time with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Christ, exchange gifts and eat too much food. What is there not to love about Dec. 25?

Given the abundance of joy and happiness present during a Christmas celebration, I’d venture to guess that most people wouldn’t mind if Christmas were extended a day or two. Who could ever be against that idea?

In a video posted on YouTube, the UK pop quartet The Overtones sings “Christmas Everyday,” a tune about experiencing Christmas all 365 days. That’s a desire most people can wholeheartedly agree with and understand.

“Christmas Everyday” is a catchy, toe-tapping song about the best, most memorable aspects of the Christmas season. Because it is so upbeat and noticeably fast-paced, it’s a tune that is sure to get stuck in your head. You’ll probably find yourself singing it silently hours after that final listen.

“Sidewalks covered up in snow
Lights up everywhere we go
Santa’s on his way
It’s Christmas every day”

In addition to the lyrics about Santa, Christmas trees and snow-covered surfaces, the video provides many perfect visual depictions of all things Christmas.

The guys wear matching red suits and then don some of the ugliest Christmas sweaters you’ve ever seen while faux snow falls as the guys sing about wanting Christmas every single day.

Later in the video, their families join the fun, sitting near an intricately decorated Christmas tree.

Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Andrea And Virginia Bocelli Perform ‘Hallelujah’ On Strictly Come Dancing

A world-renowned musician and his talented young daughter turned in a moving and stunning performance on a popular British program, singing a beloved song from the late Leonard Cohen.

While long-running television programs like American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The Voice and Dancing with the Stars remain popular despite their lengthy run, they still want to increase viewership. So, to accomplish this task, those shows often use gimmicks like theme nights and bring other, more widely recognized performers on to sing, dance and even guest judge.

As it turns out, The United States of America isn’t the only country in the world where citizens tune in to watch other people ballroom dance. The Brits also apparently enjoy this type of television programming. But instead of Disney or Taylor Swift-themed nights, one British program went in a decidedly different and much better direction to try and increase viewership.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Italian musician Andrea Bocelli and his daughter Virginia appeared on an episode of Strictly Come Dancing – a show very much like Dancing with the Stars.

The father-daughter duo appeared on the British program and performed the classic and beloved 1984 hit “Hallelujah.” As expected, it’s a lovely performance featuring two talented musicians.

The duet begins with young Virginia singing the opening lyrics. Her world-famous father sits next to her, strumming along on the guitar.

“Now, I’ve heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth”

After singing the opening verse herself, Andrea joins his daughter by singing the tune’s simple but memorable chorus. But the highlight of their entire performance is when Andrea begins singing in Italian about a minute into the clip.

It's such an unexpected but welcomed twist, helping to make for a dazzling performance. The sound is beautiful despite likely not many in the audience or those watching at home understanding a word of Italian.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Bing Crosby Sings ‘Jingle Bells’ During Christmas Special

Bing Crosby and company have turned in and delivered yet another memorable and iconic performance of a beloved Christmas tune.

Christmas is a season that has no shortage of festive tunes that help listeners get in the holiday spirit. Fans of Santa Claus, Rudolph the Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman will be pleasantly surprised. There are plenty of songs about those characters. There is one tune that even mentions the green, evil and conniving central character from the Dr. Suess tale “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”

But likely, as far as secular Christmas songs go, the most popular is “Jingle Bells.” By the end of the Christmas season, most people are likely sick and tired of that tune. Its many covers are in countless Christmas television specials, films and commercials. The song is often heard in several stores while customers peruse and complete their holiday shopping.

However, no matter how much you may have heard “Jingle Bells,” there is still something special about hearing it sung by the legendary Bing Crosby. The late actor and singer could have opened a phonebook and belted out those names and numbers in a melodic fashion and turned it into a classic.

In a short clip posted on YouTube, Bing is joined by several other people as they sing the often-heard but still beloved holiday track “Jingle Bells.”

“Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh, hey
Jingle bells, jingle bells”

Once again, in this short clip, Bing shows why his covers of Christmas songs are the versions heard annually. His soothing, calming and distinct voice creates a pleasant and enjoyable listening experience.

Bing Crosby Christmas covers will, without a doubt, continue to be played for many more Christmas seasons to come.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

‘The Ultimate Deception’ Musical Scene From Journey To Bethlehem

Milo Manheim, one of the stars of the new film “Journey to Bethlehem,” gives a stunning musical performance while singing about Joseph’s anger, hurt and confusion surrounding Mary’s immaculate conception.

The birth of Jesus is a story of joy and happiness. Hope, in the form of that precious baby boy born in a stable, had finally arrived in a lost and broken world. However, the story of Christ’s birth is also an example of how God used lowly, ordinary and humble people to fulfill His plan, His mission. Mary and Joseph did not have an elevated status in society. Instead, they were willing servants of the Lord. But that does not mean they had no questions or confusion along the way.

A scene from “Journey to Bethlehem” depicts the massive internal struggle that Joseph was likely wrestling with and experiencing. In the clip, he literally wrestles with himself. As he sings, he argues back and forth with himself reasons to believe what Mary told him and why she was unfaithful and had made a fool of him.

“I’m completely torn in two
Half of me believes her
While the other half needs proof”

Joseph’s confusion and doubt are completely understandable in his position. He instantly must have thought that Mary had been unfaithful. Anyone else would have immediately thought the same thing. The Bible, in the book of Matthew, even shows that these were the exact thoughts going through Joseph’s mind. God, knowing the thoughts going through Joseph’s mind, sent an angel to put his mind at rest.

Christ’s birth is a story that contains several miracles. God’s hand was involved in that situation in a variety of ways, from beginning to end. However, it was also a story where two average, everyday people exhibited a huge amount of faith and reliance upon the Lord’s guidance and direction, especially, as the clip posted on YouTube shows, Joseph.

Matthew 1:20 “But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”

Andrea Bocelli And Daughter Virginia Bocelli Sing ‘Winter Wonderland’ Duet

Beloved Italian musician Andrea Bocelli is joined by his talented young daughter, Virginia, for a remarkable duet as they sing “Winter Wonderland.”

Many holiday and Christmas-themed songs paint a beautiful picture of the winter season, creating this fictional, magical wonderland full of snow-covered trees, mountaintops and meadows. But the often-freezing temperatures and bone-chilling wind chills are anything but a wonderland. Regardless of the reality of the winter season weather conditions, those songs about a “winter wonderland” are still beloved by many.

One of those tunes that has become a favorite of many over the decades is “Winter Wonderland.” In a clip posted on YouTube, Andrea Bocelli is joined by his daughter, Virginia Bocelli, for a memorable and stunning duet.

“Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight
We’re happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland”

It’s clear early on, as evidenced by this tune, that Andrea’s musical talent did not stop with him. His daughter, Virginia, also has quite the voice, able to belt out the lyrics as she sings with her world-famous father.

This duet is a fantastic example of the immense musical skill and talent that Andrea and Virginia both possess. It’s a dazzling rendition of a classic Christmas song that is sure to become an iconic version, heard for many more Christmas seasons to come.

Others, in their written comments on the YouTube video, indicated that they wholeheartedly agreed with the assessment and loved the father-daughter duet.

“Absolutely fabulous! Virginia Bocelli has inherited her father’s great voice! This (is) a marvelous way to start off the Christmas season! Thank you,” one person posted.

“Absolutely amazing voices. Great duet Andrea and Virginia. Congratulations!!! Beautiful Christmas song,” a second person added.

“This is so beautifully performed. Andrea and Victoria are excellent together. I can see this becoming a classic being played regularly for future years. Well accomplished. Thank you so very much. Kindest regards from England,” a third individual wrote.

Psalms 95:1 “O come, let us make songs to the Lord; sending up glad voices to the Rock of our salvation.”

A Cappella Choir Sings Nostalgic ‘Nutcracker’ Medley

A group of talented vocalists put their immense talents to work by creating a thoroughly enjoyable medley of familiar tunes from the beloved Nutcracker ballet.

The human voice is a unique and versatile instrument. Musicians can and do use it to create a wide range of interesting sounds and captivating tones. Not only is the human voice capable of producing a wide variety of sounds, but it is the original instrument and the only one created by God himself.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one group of vocalists, Voctave, created a stunning medley of music from the Nutcracker ballet. But instead of playing any conventional instruments to produce the familiar sound, they only use their voices.

To say their final product is outstanding would be a severe understatement. Performing a cappella is dangerous because no instruments are present to cover up mistakes or slip-ups. If someone were to sing a wrong note or miss one entirely, the audience would probably be able to pick up on that mistake rather easily.

But instead of mistakes, Voctave’s performance is simply amazing. They produce high-quality sounds that all are likely more than familiar with, even if they don’t realize it.

Additionally, the group’s transitions between songs are absolutely flawless. There is no lag or confusion between the vocalists. Their timing is perfect, with no one missing a beat or a note throughout the 2-minute and 46-second clip.

Several others who commented on the group’s YouTube video also expressed their love and admiration for their Christmas-themed performance.

“I have one criticism. This wasn’t long enough!! I was left wanting more! This will most certainly end up on my “must listen” to Christmas music,” one person wrote.

“Epic! Such great rhythmic precision and control,” a second individual added.

“Great as always. Such an amazing harmony,” someone else mentioned

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

‘Festa’ Andrea Bocelli Sings For The John Lewis Christmas Advert 2023

Andrea Bocelli lent his immense musical talents to the latest John Lewis Christmas commercial, and a new video gives a behind-the-scenes look at how that happened.

Hollywood, and the entertainment industry in general, is not all glitz and glamor. That seen on the television screen or at the theater is the final product of blood, sweat and tears. The entertainment industry is a job field like any other and often requires long, stressful hours like every other occupation.

A clip posted on YouTube shows world-renowned Italian singer Andrea Bocelli adding his dazzling voice to the John Lewis 2023 Christmas commercial. As the video shows, it’s not as simple as Andrea singing the song one time through and then calling it a day as he collects a healthy paycheck.

The clip opens in a music studio and gives viewers a look at several Andrea Bocelli records that adorn the studio’s walls. Seconds into the video, Andrea walks into the room, picks up his headphones and stands in front of the microphone.

As Andrea prepares to belt out the lyrics to “Festa,” a voice off-camera reminds the people in the room and nearby to shut their mouths.

“Silence please…we start recording!” the words on the screen read.

Andrea begins singing, and from that point forward, the video is a mix of Andrea and his crew in the studio and the John Lewis Christmas ad featuring the massive Venus flytrap Snapper.

One man in the studio sits at a computer, monitoring the recording as others sit in the room and silently take in the sight of Andrea singing “Festa.”

But as the clip also shows, not even someone as experienced and talented as Andrea Bocelli is above direction and guidance. At different times throughout the clip, a second man talks to Andrea, who, given his arm movements and hand gestures, dictates directions to him.

In the clip’s closing moments, Andrea exits the studio after what was likely a long day while singing “Festa” to himself.

Psalm 104:33 “I will make songs to the Lord all my life; I will make melody to my God while I have my being.”

Trio Sings Chilling Rendition of ‘The First Noel’

Three talented young people turned in a stunning and awe-inspiring musical performance, singing about the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus Christ.

Most will wholeheartedly agree that Christmas is the best period of the entire year. All the gifts, the meals, the gorgeous lighting displays and gatherings with family and friends certainly make Christmas a fun-filled and beautiful time. However, without recognizing the significance and importance of the birth of Christ, Christmas is a meaningless celebration.

In a clip posted on YouTube, three musicians – two men and a young lady – who call themselves Life in 3D sing about that first Christmas, “The First Noel.” Their sweet, soothing voices are simply angelic. All three demonstrate their massive talent throughout the nearly 2-and-a-half-minute video, creating a most pleasant listening experience.

“The first Noel the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields say they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep
Noel Noel Noel Noel”

Others who commented on the YouTube link also appreciated Life in 3D’s inspired performance of the beloved Christmas tune.

“You 3 are perfection when singing praises to God. Thanks again,” one person wrote.

“Beautiful, stunning. Awesome! Perfect harmony! God blessed you 3 with so much talent!” a second individual posted.

“Thank you so much for this beautiful song. You all have beautiful voices. Thank you again and stay blessed. Amen,” someone else added.

“The First Noel” is a tune that has been sung and recorded by a number of musicians over the years. It’s likely that any musician with even the smallest amount of fame or notoriety has a version of “The First Noel” floating around somewhere.

However, no matter how many times you may have heard the song about the newborn King, it never loses its meaning. Born is the King of Israel! The moment that precious child, born in Bethlehem stable, who brought hope to a lost and broken world, is still a reason for celebration.

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

A Cappella Men’s Choir Performs ‘Gratitude’ By Brandon Lake

A choir of unbelievably talented musicians turned in an emotional and moving performance of a song about praising and worshiping the Lord for His endless love and mercy.

The world is a fallen and lost place inhabited by people hurting and struggling. They are broken and bruised and looking for hope wherever they may find it. But thanks to Christ’s willing sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection, all have been given hope and a chance at everlasting life with Him.

For all Christ has done, defeating death and sin and bringing hope, there is no way to praise and thank Him properly. But what else can we do? All we have is our praise to offer Him, and not even that is fit for a King.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir performs Brandon Lake’s classic “Gratitude,” about offering our praise and worship to the Lord because that’s all we have to give. It’s an absolutely stunning and moving a cappella performance – one all are sure to enjoy and appreciate.

“So I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah
Hallelujah”

Christ went to the cross and died a horrible, awful and completely undeserving death. He went through all of that excruciating pain and agony for a bunch of sinners, people who had willingly turned away and were disobedient. But God showed pity and mercy for a lost people by sending His one and Only Son to die for us to bridge the gap and rupture that sin had caused.

That level of love, mercy and grace is hard to fathom. There is nothing anyone can do to become worthy of such a selfless and loving gift. As the song says, all we can do is throw up our hands and praise Him repeatedly.

Isaiah 25:1 “O Lord, you are my God; I will give praise to you, I will give honor to your name; for you have done great acts of power; your purposes in the past have been made true and certain in effect.”

‘Away In A Manger’ Andrea Bocelli, Matteo Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli Christmas Hymn

World-renowned musician Andrea Bocelli was joined by family members for an utterly delightful performance of a beloved Christmas tune, “Away in a Manger.”

The world was changed forever after Mary gave birth to that precious baby boy in a stable in Bethlehem all those years ago. Following word of the newborn King’s birth, several traveled, near and far, to get a glimpse of that child, wrapped up in swaddling clothes, lying in a manager. Christ’s birth was the moment that gave hope to the entire world.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Andrea Bocelli is joined by his children – Virginia and Matteo – for a lovely performance of “Away in the Manger.” Of course, it’s the classic Christmas hymn about the child born that evening.

“Away in a manager
No crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down His sweet head”

While “Away in a Manger” is a song that many are likely able to recite completely from memory, it does not and has not gotten old. The beautiful lyrics about the baby sent to Earth to save mankind from sin are full of love, painting a beautiful picture of the newborn King. “Away in a Manger” is always, and likely will continue to be a popular tune every Christmas season.

In addition to the lovely lyrics, the video is also a sight to behold. Andrea plays the piano and shoulders singing responsibilities with his daughter, Virginia. The two of them sit at the piano with a dazzling display of bright, festively decorated Christmas trees resting behind them. Also, throughout the video, viewers are treated to a perfect, serene and breathtaking winter scene – snow-covered mountains and falling snow along the ocean.

The Bocelli family rendition of “Away in a Manger” is one that is more than worth a few listens.

Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

‘Gloria’ Gaither Vocal Band Live Christmas Performance

A handful of gifted musicians turned in an awe-inspiring performance of an upbeat and catchy tune about the birth of Jesus Christ and how everything changed instantly.

God lovingly sent His one and only Son into the fallen world to save sinners. Without Christ's birth, death and resurrection, all would have remained lost and condemned. But Christ’s birth in a lowly stable in Bethlehem forever changed the course of history. Now, all have a chance at everlasting life with Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Gaither Vocal Band sings “Gloria,” a song about the difference Christ’s birth made to a lost world. Jesus Christ's arrival was the most important birth in history. It was a moment that instantly and forever changed everything for so many.

Before Christ’s birth, the singers mention how everything was dark. There was not a single light in the sky. Darkness covered the sky. But Christ's birth in the inn changed it all, everything. Hope had come into the world.

“Gloria, dark became light,
Everything bright
Gloria, Emmanuel Christ is born tonight
There were angels everywhere, their singing filled the air
They said don’t be afraid”

Christmas is a terrific time of year, filled with numerous traditions and other annual activities. Friends and family gather to exchange gifts, share meals and enjoy each other's company. Precious, dearly held memories are created during these occasions.

But despite all the meals, the presents and traditions, those joyous gatherings are empty and worthless if they do not honor, recognize and celebrate the birth of the Savior.

Christ was sent, born of a virgin in a stable, to save mankind from its sins. Praise God for His love and mercy that He sent his one and only Son to save sinners and give all a chance at everlasting life!

John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.”

Powerful Youth Drama Set To ‘Everything’ By Lifehouse Reminds Us Of God’s Protection

A short, but impactful drama shows how God is always at work, constantly guiding and protecting us even when we make choices and decisions that lead us down a path that can only end in destruction and death.

There are several ways to portray and convey the messages contained in the Bible to the masses. Likely, the ones that immediately come to mind are songs of worship and praise and a truth-filled message from the pulpit. But as one clip posted on YouTube perfectly demonstrates, those are far from the only methods of sharing the Bible’s message of love, forgiveness and redemption.

The short, 6-minute clip shows the seductive and destructive nature of sin and how quickly it can ruin and destroy lives. The handful of actors move about while the song “Everything” by the alternative rock band Lifehouse plays and essentially narrates the action on stage.

The clip begins with a woman, dressed all in white, standing on the left side of the stage as a second figure, also donning all white, stands behind her. He is her protector and shield.

But soon enough, she steps out and away from the love and protection of God. After being enticed by the allure and seductive nature of sin, she starts to make one wrong decision and choice after another.

Little by little, the young woman is in a position she never imagined. Her life has been consumed and swallowed up by sin. She is totally lost.

Near the end of the clip, the actors effectively portray the spiritual battle in our world today. Sin is literally pulling and tugging on her, desperately trying to keep its hold on her. But God, being ever faithful, loving and merciful, steps in and protects the woman.

At the end of the clip, God, who constantly shows mercy and love to sinners, gives her a fresh robe of white.

1 John 5:18 “We know that whoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.”

‘Joy To The World’ Jordan Smith Sings Christmas Classic

Christian music singer and former winner of The Voice Jordan Smith gave a pitch-perfect performance of a beloved Christmas classic, “Joy to the World.”

Christmas is when family and friends come together to celebrate and recognize God sending his one and only Son to Earth. That baby boy coming to Earth, being born by a virgin in a humble, lowly stable in Bethlehem changed the trajectory of the world forever. He was sent to Earth to save man from his sins, to give everyone a chance at everlasting life with Him.

When thinking of the miracle and world-changing birth of Jesus Christ, there is only one way to respond to such a momentous occasion: with abundant, exceeding and overwhelming joy. How could anyone reply in any other manner?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jordan Smith, the winner of The Voice season 9, sings about the Savior’s birth and the staggering amount of joy felt by all because of His arrival. Christ’s much-anticipated entrance gave hope to all man.

“Joy to the Earth, the Savior reigns
Let all their saints employ
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy”

Jordan turns in a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining cover of the beloved Christmas song. Jordan leaves his mark on the track, making it his own.

He does change the song quite a bit, adding verses to the original version. However, what Jordan adds only helps to enhance the meaning and intent of the original. Anyone who was a big fan of the original “Joy to the World” will still love and appreciate Jordan’s updated version of the Christmas classic.

In addition to the outstanding vocals Jordan provides, the official music video for the tune is a feast for the eyes. The video is a series of sweepingly beautiful shots of jaw-dropping landscapes.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonder, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.”
