The Detty Sisters' Captivating 'I Saw The Light' Live Performance

Check out this captivating performance of the song ‘I Saw The Light’ from The Detty Sisters.

“I saw the light, I saw the light

No more darkness, no more night

Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight

Praise the Lord, I saw the light”

What a great video of these talented sisters performing this country gospel song written by Hank Williams. In the video, all of the girls are wearing dresses in shades of pink as they perform this classic song on stage at a church. All of their voices blend together so beautifully as they sing the different harmonies together.

For the first verse in the video, the youngest sister has a solo, and it is so sweet to see her sing her heart out on stage. Then the next oldest sister gets her chance at a solo. Both of their voices are lovely, and it is heartwarming to see them use their musical talents to glorify the Lord. I’m sure that they look up to their older sisters and get so much happiness being able to perform with them.

“Beautiful bunch of ladies! I love your voices praising God! Always touches my heart to hear you all sing,” comments one person on Instagram after watching the video.

“I love listening to y’all. Very uplifting. I hope to see y’all one day on a tour!” writes another person online.

When it comes to their background, The Detty Sisters are a group of sisters from southern Ohio, and they got their start singing when they were young in their home church. As they continued to use their musical talents to praise God, The Detty Sisters were able to encourage others with videos that they shared online as well as through their albums.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to The Detty Sisters perform ‘I Saw The Light’ today!

I Look and Lift Mine Eyes Up (Psalm 121)

Learning Bible verses never came easier than this! This setting of David's psalm, sung right from the Norwegian Bible in use at the time was often sung in Norway in the Jesus Movement. It tells who our "Ezer" is, our Mighty Help. The recording I chose actually goes faster, and is available on social media platforms I have done my best to stick as closely as I can to the rythm of the Norwegian, and also consulted the Hebrew text while translating.

Crowder Delivers a Powerful Anthem in 'Even In EXILE' Lyric Video

The massively popular and incredibly talented Christian music artist Crowder has delivered a powerful anthem in the official lyric video for his new tune "Even in EXILE."

The world is full of lost people who are searching for something, anything, that will give them a glimmer of hope. Even the slightest, most minuscule bit of relief would be welcomed. Most want to escape, even for the smallest amount of time, from their hurt, heartache and struggle.

Many people feel as if they don't matter. They believe, for whatever reason, that no one cares about them or their current predicament. Many individuals feel they have been left to fend for themselves, made to fight their battles by their lonesome.

Crowder's new song "Even in EXILE" makes it clear that that is not the case at all. There is one who most certainly does care, who understands what we're going through or feeling. Even in the most tragic and bleak circumstances, Christ remains by our side. He offers comfort, grace and healing.

The song's uplifting lyrics remind us of the kind of Lord and Savior we serve. He is capable of doing infinitely more than we could ever imagine. Thankfully, He is not limited by the expectations we place upon Him.

"Got a miracle-working father

Moving mountains, parting waters

Impossible is just what He does

Got my hands up in the battle."

The Bible tells of several miracles God performed throughout the Old and the New Testaments. He raised the dead, gave sight to the blind, made the lame walk and parted the Red Sea. That is the same powerful, all-mighty God we serve. God is our hope and our future; even when life may get bleak and painful situations arrive, God is still in control and on the throne, working in that particular circumstance.

If that doesn’t get you fired up and lift your spirits, I’m not sure what will!

Matthew 19:26 "And Jesus, looking at them, said, 'With men, this is not possible, but with God all things are possible.'"

Mac Powell's Live Performance of 'Like It's Nothing' Highlights God's Power

Check out this energetic live performance from Mac Powell of his song ‘Like It’s Nothing’ and see how the lyrics highlight God’s amazing power.

‘Wine out of water, man from the dust

Bringing healing with just a touch

Beauty from ashes, sight for the blind

You do it like it's nothing, time after time’

What a great song with an important message. God continues to do incredible things in people's lives today, and this song reminds us of that. Mac Powell shares about ‘Like It’s Nothing’ and the inspiration behind the song.

“I know it may sound crazy, but I still believe in miracles,” Mac Powell says. “All of these amazing things that we read about in the scriptures – from God parting the Red Seas, Elijah calling down fire from Heaven, to Jesus healing with just a touch – I truly believe these things, in some ways, still happen. And God does not grow tired or weak in doing these mighty things. I pray we all will continue to have the kind of faith that sees God working today!”

Whether it’s fixing a broken marriage or healing someone from cancer, God is always moving. In the big things and small things, God’s handiwork can be seen in the intricate details of our lives. Nothing is too much for Him to handle. Seek Him and find peace and comfort in the palm of His hand.

If you need a miracle, call out to God with your prayers. And let this song remind you that God can make things happen for the good of his people and make it seem “like it’s nothing.” We hope this song was an encouragement to you today!

Deuteronomy 10:21 “He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.”

Michael W. Smith Joined By for KING + COUNTRY for Powerful 'Place In This World' Performance

Two of the biggest names in the Christian music world, Michael W. Smith and for KING + Country, joined forces for a powerful performance of “Place in this World.”

Most people want to live a meaningful life. They want to know that they made a difference at the end of their lives and that what they did meant something to someone. That is a perfectly normal and natural desire. We’re all only given limited time on Earth, and we might as well do something with it.

God, the Creator of the universe, has a will and purpose for every human life. No one was created by mistake. He has a plan for everyone to build and grow His kingdom. However, fully understanding God’s will for our lives sometimes requires time and patience.

Everyone wants things, including answers, instantly and immediately. However, God works according to His schedule and timing, which does not always match our desired timeline. Those answers will come at a time and pace that fits God’s desired timeframe.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael W. Smith and for KING + Country sing “Place in this World,” a song about looking and searching for a purpose in life. The beautifully written lyrics are relatable because we’ve all likely found ourselves in such a place, looking for answers and God’s will for our lives.

The song’s simple yet powerful chorus likely sounds and feels familiar to anyone who has ever asked God for His will in their life or even during a period of uncertainty.

“Not a lot to lean on

I need Your light to help me find

My place in this world

My place in this world”

Whatever the case may be, whether we ask Him for help and guidance in our lives or answers during a troubling and painful situation, God remains faithful. He does hear those prayers and will work it all out in His time.

1 Corinthians 1:9 “God is faithful, by whom you were called to the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Shane Shane Deliver Moving Acoustic Performance of 'Psalm 34 (Taste and See)'

A massively talented Christian music duo, Shane & Shane, gave a moving acoustic performance of “Psalm 34 (Taste and See).”

The world can leave even the most sane and well-adjusted person with dozens of questions, often pushing them to the brink. Situations and circumstances can be overwhelming and confusing. Doubts and questions about God may pop up in even the most faithful and committed followers’ minds.

If they are honest, most people will admit to a time or two when they questioned God and His plan. Times will occur when we might feel and believe that God no longer cares, is not listening and has gone missing. Sadly, doubt and fear are natural and part of our human nature.

But God is faithful, righteous and loving and never leaves nor forsakes us, especially during our time of need. Call upon Him, and He will answer. Reach out to Him, and He will respond.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the praise and worship duo Shane & Shane (Shane Barnard and Shane Everett) put on a stunning and moving acoustic performance of “Psalm 34 (Taste and See).”

Of course, as the song’s title indicates, the lyrics are from Psalm 34 in the Old Testament, originally written by David. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful about believing in and trusting the Lord during life’s storms and battles. Not only is it about trusting Him, but the tune is also about God's faithfulness and how He delivers each and every time.

The song’s opening verse perfectly captures God’s enduring love and faithfulness.

“I sought the Lord

And He answered me

And delivered me

From every fear”

 Praise God!

As Shane and Shane sing and the psalmist originally wrote, God does not respond 10% or 50% of the time but every single time. He is faithful.

Psalm 34:4 “I was searching for the Lord, and he gave ear to my voice, and made me free from all my fears.”

Phil Wickham Captivating 'Back To Life' Live Rendition

Massively talented and hugely popular Christian musician Phil Wickham turned in an utterly captivating and stunning live rendition of “Back to Life.”

Death is sadly something that all will experience. It’s likely that it has already touched and impacted our lives in one way or another. Whenever those instances of death do occur in our lives, when we lose a loved one, it’s a season filled with immense pain, hurt and heartache.

However, whenever someone thinks about death, they immediately think of a physical death. Yes, all will experience a physical death. Our bodies are temporary and will eventually wear out and waste away. But there is another type of being dead, one that can and does happen when someone is still alive. It’s called being spiritually dead.

In his song “Back to Life,” Phil Wickham sings about being brought back to life by the life-changing power and love of Jesus Christ. The song is about being dead spiritually, living in sin and leading a life contrary to Christ's teachings and commands.

However, Christ does spiritually bring people back to life. He freely offers forgiveness, hope, love and a future. He can take someone dead in their sin, the absolute worst sinner and bring them back to life, giving them a purpose and future.

Phil’s beautiful lyrics capture the significant change that takes place when someone turns to Christ, and He brings them back to life spiritually.

“Where was dead religion

Now, there is living faith

All of my hope and freedom

I found in Jesus name”

As Phil adds in the song, when we are brought back to life by Him, it is no longer us but Christ who lives in us. The Bible mentions that if we are in Christ, we are actually made new and become an entirely different creation.

Praise His excellent name!

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Bethel Music And Jenn Johnson Emotional '10,000 Reasons' Performance

Listen to this beautiful performance from Bethel Music and Jenn Johnson of the worship song ‘10,000 Reasons.’ Hearing these powerful lyrics just makes my soul soar!

“Bless the Lord oh my soul,

Oh my soul

Worship His Holy name,

Sing like never before,

Oh my soul,

I'll worship Your Holy name”

What an emotional and powerful performance of ‘10,000 Reasons’ at Bethel Church in Redding, California, by Jenn Johnson. And many people online were also touched when they saw the video of this rendition.

“Jenn Johnson's performance of the song ‘10,000 Reasons’ is so powerful and new. The song makes the heart overflow with emotions,” writes one person after watching the video on YouTube.

“God bless you, Jenn. Pure, natural, and intense worship,” comments another person online.

Matt Redman originally wrote the song ‘10,000 Reasons.’ And he shared what inspired the lyrics of this wonderful song.

“I’ve always loved Psalm 103 and how the writer lists all of these brilliant reasons why his heart is full of worship for God: he heals our diseases, redeems our lives from the pit, crowns us with love and compassion, etc,” said Matt Redman. “So in the verses of this song, we try and make a little list of our own—noting, of course, that we’re hardly even scratching the surface of God’s worth—there are ‘10,000 Reasons’ for our hearts to find. With anyone or anything else, that would be an outrageous overstatement. With Jesus, it is a huge understatement.”

We hope you enjoyed listening to Jenn Johnson’s rendition of this classic worship song today. May it bring you some joy and encouragement.

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37

CAIN And Isaiah Templeton Lyric Video For Inspiring 'The Commission (Got Tell The World)'

Listen to this inspiring song by the band CAIN and featuring Isaiah Templeton titled 'The Commission (Got Tell The World).' The lyrics remind us of our calling to share the Good News of Jesus!

“Go tell the world about me,

I was dead but now I live,

I’ve gotta go now for a little while

But goodbye is not the end”

Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, Logan Cain, Carter Frodge, and Blake NeeSmith wrote this beautiful song. The lyrics are written from the point of view of Jesus and show our Savior’s humanity. They show what Jesus must have felt as He was preparing to return to Heaven.

“If you hear this song and feel like Jesus is talking to you, it’s because He is,” shares Madison Cain Johnson of the band CAIN. “Jesus Christ, who has felt everything that you’re feeling, He is real. He is alive. He is with you.”

The words in 'The Commission (Got Tell The World)' are similar to the text in Matthew 28, but the perspective of Jesus was just shared in this song using everyday language.

“The power in this song is that although we did write it, we really didn’t write it. It’s Scripture,” says Madison Cain Johnson.

The song touched many people online, and they shared how it impacted them.

“Whew, needed to hear this tonight. Darkness doesn’t win over us,” comments one person on YouTube. “Love to all, remember He created you, you are worthy.”

“The purpose of life on this earth is found in the lyrics of this beautiful song!” writes another person online.

We hope you enjoyed listening to 'The Commission (Got Tell The World)’ by CAIN today!

“Go then, and make disciples of all the nations, giving them baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19

Behold The Man

You can study every famous person in history, but you will not find anyone who compares to Jesus. Jesus is the Son of God and Son of Man. Seek Him and study Him. Jesus overcame the devil, sin, and death by being totally humble. His submission gave not only Him, but us, victory. Behold Him continually. You will never be the same. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Corinthians 3:18
