Mike Peacock
Mike Peacock is an Independent Certified Trainer for the Hawaii Certified Peer Specialist training program which resides in the Hawaii State Department of Health Adult Mental Health Division. He is also a trainer for the Forensic Peer Specialist Program as well as a WRAP Facilitator. A Veteran of the US Army Medical Corps, who has personnel experience with homelessness and recovery. Mike participates in training our local Law Enforcement community members with the CIT Program as he shares Stress Reduction tools which helps our First Responders better interact with our community members that are in crisis. At the beginning of 2023 Mike teamed up with Hahoko in order to expand his base with better stability and improved community partnerships. This new alliance along with the launching of a new radio broadcast called "Invisible Wounds" gives Hawaii Vet 2 Vet an increased ability to serve the SMVF Community and produce positive outcomes for all involved.
Deborah Funai
Deborah Funai is the the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran father who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer due to Agent Orange exposure. Veteran & First Responder causes are near and dear to her heart. She is the Executive Director of Hawaii Vet 2 Vet, Inc.; Hawaii State Coordinator of Together With Veterans-TWV Hawaii; on the Hawaii Governor's Challenge Taskforce - Veteran's Suicide Prevention; Director of Marketing-ProjectX which is a Big Island of Hawaii Mobile Health Unit that is looking to launch in 2024 to proudly serve our SMVF in rural communities; Vice President & Board Member of The Guardian Foundation; Warrior Flights Co-Founder which is a Collaborative Partnership With Hawaii Vet 2 Vet, TWV Hawaii, TWV Colorado-NECOVSAP & TWV Guam-Got Your Six 71; Any is Too Many, amongst several partnerships, community outreach programs & coalitions that help our Service Members, Veterans, Families and First Responders. She has spoken on several discussion panels about Graphic & Web Design, Sustainability of Veteran Programs, Veteran Suicide Prevention / Awareness, and Lethal Means Safety. Being a Co-Host, of this new radio broadcast called "Invisible Wounds" gives Hawaii Vet 2 Vet an increased ability to serve the SMVF Community and produce positive outcomes for all involved. Deborah is looking forward to getting married in 2024, being able to travel more, and participating in more speaking engagements while continuing her dedicated care and support for all of our SMVF & First Responders communities.
