NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 27, 2026)
Wilson Fairchild, the country music duo made up of cousins Wil Reid and Langdon Reid, today release their new single “Lean On Me,” the latest track from their forthcoming album and DVD American Songbook: Country Classics and Gospel Favorites, available April 24 via Gaither Music Group.

Originally written and recorded by Bill Withers, “Lean On Me” has long been recognized as one of the most enduring songs about friendship, compassion, and support. Wilson Fairchild’s new recording brings the classic into their harmony-driven country style, highlighting the duo’s signature blend while honoring the song’s timeless message.

“For us, ‘Lean On Me’ has always been one of those songs that crosses every boundary,” says Wil Reid. “It’s simple, but it says something that everybody understands. Everybody needs someone to lean on at some point in life.”

Langdon Reid adds, “Those songs have lasted for a reason. They speak to something real. When we started working on this project, ‘Lean On Me’ felt like a natural fit because it reflects the kind of music we grew up around and the values we’ve always tried to carry forward.”

Wilson Fairchild grew up immersed in country and gospel music as the sons of Statler Brothers legends Harold Reid and Don Reid. From backstage rehearsals to long nights on the road, the cousins absorbed the craft of harmony, storytelling, and stage performance long before launching their own career.

With American Songbook: Country Classics and Gospel Favorites, the duo revisits many of the songs that shaped their musical upbringing. The project features fresh interpretations of beloved classics including “Amazing Grace,” “Always on My Mind,” “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and Hank Williams’ “I Saw The Light.”

Filmed live at The Mulehouse in Columbia, Tennessee, the companion DVD captures 15 performances in an intimate concert setting for Gaither Music. Produced by Michael Sykes and Johnny Minick, the audio recording includes 13 tracks that blend country, gospel, folk, and early rock influences.
