And it is not every day that you see a real parrot communicating with a toy bird. At the start of this clip, the toy bird makes a battery-generated tweet as the pet parrot walks around and responds. The parrot begins to bite at the toy and speak back to it. Suddenly, the toy is silent, and the parrot attempts to restart the conversation. The parrot makes a sound, and the toy mimics the exact tone. The parrot begins to communicate with the toy, which copies everything the parrot says. One time, I love you is said, and I love you is spoken back in response. We hear whistling and see the parrot actively engaging the toy. The parrot continues to say, I love you. The toy responds, I love you. It is hysterical. I have never seen anything quite like this before. A fake parrot and a real parrot are having a playdate in the drawer of a kitchen island. It is comical. It is one long game of copycat. Somehow, the toy is programmed to copy whatever is said, and the parrot has an absolute blast with it. The parrot might even believe the toy is a real bird by the end of this interaction. The game of copycat reminds us that we are called as Christians to emulate the life of Jesus. We are invited to follow Him and be His disciples. As we laugh about the parrot and the toy, may it remind us to seek to live like Jesus today. Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2

An alligator immediately and hysterically fled from a barking dog in what made for a laugh-out-loud, funny encounter. Animals are unique and fascinating creatures. As pet owners already know, all animals have unique personalities, habits and quirks. No two dogs, cats or rabbits will act the same. There will always be differences in how they act and do things. These differences can and will present themselves in several ways. Some cats fear their own shadows, flinching and jumping at every little possible disturbance, real or imagined. On the other hand, some felines have relatively little fear. Having little to no fear is the case for one brave pup. A short video posted on social media shows what is likely one of the most frightening sights a homeowner can witness: an alligator waiting right outside their door. Seeing something like that would cause most people to flee, screaming in the other direction and placing a for-sale sign in their yard. No one wants to tangle with an alligator! However, the dog in the clip, a brave beagle, did not seem to be the least bit frightened by the scaly and ferocious creatures presence. The dog runs up to the screen, spots the alligator and starts barking loudly at the giant reptile. The canine knows this is its territory and will do what it can to protect it. But the dog doesnt have to put up much of a fight. Right after the dog starts barking, the alligator literally hightails it in the other direction. It moves so fast that its kind of surprising that it did not leave a trail of smoke, much like cartoon characters do when they move swiftly. That alligator wanted nothing to do with the dog and continued moving with considerable speed, even when safely away from the canines bark. A timid and nervous cat had a hilarious and repeated reaction to a leaky roof. Most people love and adore animals, especially cats. Arguably, there isnt anything cuter than a kitten. Most people cannot pass by a kitten without acknowledging its presence in some way. Maybe they look at the feline adoringly or stop for several moments and pet it. Not only are the kittens tiny and furry but their actions and antics are usually pretty sweet and often, downright hilarious. However, as anyone who has owned a cat knows, their hilarious reactions and actions remain while they all grow and leave the kitten phase. A video posted on YouTube shows a felines hysterical reaction to a roof leak. The clip also serves as a perfect example of why felines are often called scaredy cats. Most cats, by nature, seem to be very timid creatures, always unsure of anything new or unfamiliar in their surroundings. The 20-second clip shows the black-and-white cat cautiously approaching a pot in the middle of the floor. Of course, since the pot is a new development, something the animal is not familiar with, it must approach it and decide if its ok or not. The cat slowly walks up to the piece of cookware, but as it does, something unexpected happens. The pan has been placed on the floor to catch water dripping from the roof. When the water hits the pan, the feline reacts as expected. The animal flinches in fear, unsure of what to make of the sound. But instead of flinching once, the cat hysterically flinches every time water lands in the pot. Eventually, the cat gives up trying to figure out what is happening with the pot and turns and walks away. However, even when the cat retreats, it flinches every time water lands in the container. Of course, animals are also part of Gods creation. God put dogs, cats, rabbits and, yes, even snakes on Earth. He is the same God who also placed the sun, moon and stars in their spots in the sky. As anyone knows, not all animals are as welcoming to human contact and interaction as others. If theyve been treated humanely, most dogs and cats welcome attention from people. However, there is a particular group of creatures that would prefer humans stay far away from them. The feeling is mutual on our side as well. When it comes to bears, snakes and spiders, most people would like nothing to do with them. Also, viewing them from a safe distance and behind a strong, reinforced barrier is best. However, the one animal that most people want nothing to do with is an alligator. They are too quick, strong and have too many teeth for any sane persons liking. But there are still people with little fear and no problem interacting with those frightening creatures. A clip posted on YouTube shows a young woman sitting near what appears to be a baby alligator in a pool. Not only is she seated next to the ferocious creature, but shes putting on a musical performance for the gator. She is playing Island is the Stream. The animal appears to appreciate the young ladys efforts, or at least acknowledges her presence and performance. The gator slightly turns its head in her direction as she strums on the guitar while belting the lyrics from the Dolly and Kenny tune. A fearless feline successfully chased away an unwanted visitor from its house, running the bear up a tree. Any pet owner knows that every animal is different. Like humans, no two animals are exactly 100% the same. Not only do their looks and external appearance differ from one another, but their personalities vary greatly as well. Some dogs enjoy long, extended walks in every weather condition. Others, on the other hand, prefer to avoid walks and going outside at all costs. Wrangling a dog who dislikes walking and getting outside for a little bit of daily exercise can be a monumental and almost herculean task. Cats are also not immune from these differences either. Some felines may like and desire constant attention, wanting someone always to pet and rub them. Other cats may not want anyone to touch them, choosing instead to keep a safe distance from everyone. Additionally, some cats are scaredy cats, so much so that seeing their own shadow is extremely disturbing and frightening. But other cats seem to have absolutely no fear. They will confront anyone and everyone, even when the odds appear not to be in their favor. A clip posted on YouTube shows a cat who has no fear whatsoever. The short, 28-second clip begins with a bear leisurely approaching a house. The bear has found something that has clearly interested it and has chosen to investigate. However, not everyone who lives in the house does not appreciate the bear's intrusion, particularly a black-and-white cat. The cat sits and watches on a set of steps as the bear approaches and begins sniffing around, but seconds later, the bear is quickly running in the other direction. The cat has had enough of the uninvited guest and causes the bear to turn around as the cat gives chase, running the bear up a nearby tree. Most cats would not have dared tangle with a creature as large as a bear, but its evident that the cat in the video is not like other felines. It looks completely fearless. A doorbell camera captured a womans hilarious encounter with a flock of geese who quickly became very upset. Animals are part of Gods creation. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and even snakes were placed on Earth by the same God who breathed life into man and created the sun, moon and stars. Like human beings, animals are special in their own unique way. As anyone who has been around animals for a while knows, every animal is different. Some animal community members appreciate human interaction, hoping for and seeking a nice pat on the head or a firm scratch on the tummy. But others want nothing to do with people. They would prefer that they never come across a human being. For those who may not know, geese are firmly in the group that does not appreciate human interaction. Most seem not to want a human even within their vision. A clip posted on YouTube shows that one woman learned this firsthand. The short clip begins with the woman walking out of her front door. She heads down the driveway, and loud, boisterous and almost painful squawking soon starts. Moments later, an entire gaggle of geese appears on the screen. The geese start to chase the poor woman, literally. She retreats to avoid the angry wild animals, running back toward her house. The geese seemed determined to make their point. They chase her back to her front door. The woman eventually reaches her porch and hurriedly sneaks inside, evading the loud and upset geese. As the woman gets closer and closer to the door, a second person can be heard laughing at the unfortunate and hilarious interaction with the wild animals. Geese do not like people, and as the video shows, they are not shy about letting others know this. A former NBA player found himself in a confrontation with a possum that had managed to get into his kitchen. Professional athletes are some of the most disciplined, mentally and physically fit people on the entire planet. They put in hundreds of hours in the gym, perfecting their craft. Those people invest an absurd amount of blood, sweat and tears into readying themselves for the high-pressure competition. When those men and women lift weights or run miles in the gym, they practice and prepare to face another human. Its likely that none of those athletes ever envision their next opponent as a member of the animal community. However, that was precisely what happened to retired basketball player Matt Barnes. A clip posted on YouTube shows the former Los Angeles Laker confronting an invasive possum. The outdoor creature had somehow found its way into Matts kitchen. Almost assuredly, this was a competitive battle that Matt had never seen coming. But hilariously, it appeared to be between two very stubborn and strong-willed competitors. The clip shows Matt come across the critter who has backed itself up against a fixture in the kitchen. Matt tries several tactics to get the creature to vacate his kitchen and head outside. The video shows that Matt had even gone so far as to construct a fort out of cardboard boxes intended to direct the possum outdoors. About halfway through the YouTube clip, Matt chucks an orange at the possum. That didnt do much, as the possum doesnt flinch when the fruit lands near it. He then grabs a golf club and slams on surfaces near the possum, hoping to scare it away, but that again fails. Then, eventually, Matt is successful. He starts spraying water at the possum, and soon after that, the animal scurries outside, exiting Matts kitchen. Matt won this one and likely hopes the possum doesnt return for a rematch. One cat resorted to a hilarious and side-splitting move in order to avoid being spotted by a toddler. Ask any parent, and they will agree that children are one of lifes biggest blessings. They add so much joy, love, and laughter to life. However, as great as children are, they can be tiring, especially when they first learn to walk and move around alone. As they grow, all children will move around and explore their environment. They will reach for and grab anything and everything, regardless of the item or object. Its all a part of the learning experience for children. But a childs constant activity and loud noises can become tiring. No matter how much they love their child, every parent needs time to regroup, decompress and relax. Parents arent the only ones who need time away from toddlers. One feline had enough of a child walking around and didnt want to attract the young mans attention. The cat devised an ingenious and absolutely hilarious way of going undetected. A clip posted on social media shows the child making sounds with its mouth as it walks about a structure, holding onto the railing as it does so. The structure is a bed of some sort. Sitting on the bed is a gray cat closely monitoring the childs every move. Slowly, the child approaches the cat and comes within inches of contact with the animal. Clearly, the cat wants nothing to do with the child, but what is the cat to do? The child sees the feline, right? Well, maybe not. The cat becomes statue-like and does not move a muscle. The animal doesnt even move its eyes but keeps looking straight ahead until the child passes. Once the child has passed the cat, the feline then turns its head, making sure that the child has indeed passed on by. It appears that the cat avoided having an interaction with the toddler. A brazen groundhog devours crops it had stolen from a farmer while looking into a camera. Animals are unique and fascinating creatures. Those four-legged and furry beings were put on earth by the same God who created man and placed the sun, moon and stars in their locations. Knowing they are part of His creation, they deserve love, care, kindness and respect. Although animals deserve such treatment, one groundhog has continually disrespected a farmer. However, its easy to forgive the little creature because its inconsiderate and rude behavior has been done in the cutest and most hilarious manner possible. Anyone who has spent time around an animal understands they will do what they want when they want. Forcing them to do something against their will is fighting a losing battle. Sure, you give it your best effort, pull and tug on their leash as you try to take them outside for a walk. But more than likely, an animals stubbornness will come out on top. The same can be said for redirecting or changing a critters impolite behavior. One clip posted on social media shows how a groundhog has stolen and eaten a farmers crops for years. But thats not all. The cute little thief almost seems to relish in its pilferage. The hilarious short clip shows the animal holding and eating a carrot, an apple and a tomato while looking directly into the camera. At one point, the groundhog looks right into the camera empty-handed, almost as if it is teasing the farmer. Likely, this furry little criminal is not about to change its ways. A group of cyclists encountered a shocking scene on their bike ride: a massive alligator blocking their path. Animals deserve love, care and respect. They were put on earth by the same God who brought the universe into existence, creating the sun, moon and stars. Hes also the God who formed you and me. So, it should be evident that if animals are important enough for the Creator of the universe to put them on earth, then animals are worthy of kindness and respect. However, kindness, care and respect dont always have to be delivered near the animal. In fact, respecting an animals space is often the best thing we can do for the animal and our sake. This is definitely true for bears, lions, tigers and most snakes. Looking at them from a safe distance and behind a reinforced barrier is best for everyone involved. Well, that wasnt the case for a group of cyclists. They were out enjoying a bike ride and trying to get a workout in when it was disrupted in a significant way. A massive alligator had decided to make itself at home by lying across the path of people biking. Thankfully, they spotted the mammoth creature before getting too close to the scaly being. But despite the animals presence, one woman was not all that frightened by it. She politely asked the alligator if it would allow her to pass by and continue her journey. Hey, big daddy, may I get by? she asks of the gator. I want to go ride my bike, come on! Eventually, the gigantic alligator gives in and grants the womans request to continue her workout. It gets up from the middle of the dirt path and slowly but surely trudges along, disappearing back into the weeds. If her bike ride hadnt already elevated her heart rate, unexpectedly seeing a creature that big in your path would have quickly gotten the job done. A dog hysterically howls whenever a young man plays an instrument. God has blessed several people with the ability to create beautiful sounds and play ear-pleasing, pleasant music. Some of those talented individuals can seemingly pick up any instrument and play it almost like theyve been doing so for years. However, for others, picking up an instrument takes a bit more work and practice. Still, there is another group of people when it comes to playing music. These people, try as they might, may not be gifted in the musical department. Thats fine; God gives everyone different skills, gifts, and talents. No two people are precisely 100 percent alike. In a clip posted on social media, a dog hilariously registers his displeasure at the sound being created by a young man practicing his recorder. Whenever the little boy does play his instrument, the dog howls loudly as if the sound is causing the dog physical pain. The text in the video mentions that the animals owners believed the sound was causing the dog pain. Had to take this video and send it to the music teacher to show her why hes failing the recorder and cant practice at homeit hurts the dogs ears too much, the text reads. The dogs hysterical reaction to the young mans playing is actually keeping him from practicing his instrument. In the opening moments of the video, the child becomes visibly frustrated with the animals critique of his work. See, I just cant when she does this, the young man says following the dogs howling. About halfway through the video, the dog adds its own sound. Every time the young man plays a note or two on the recorder, the dog immediately howls. As the old saying goes, everyone's a critic and has to offer an opinion, apparently even dogs. In this TikTok video, paddleboarders look around to see quite a marvelous sight: a whale right by their boards! The whale comes close, and while the female paddleboarder laughs, the male stays calm. I doubt everyone would have been able to stay so calm under the circumstances. You could be worried that the whale would come too close, knock you into the water, or possibly do something worse. However, this whale appears to be friendly. It also looks like it is waving to the paddleboarders towards the end of the video. Everything appears to be okay, and the whale looks like it went on its merry way after coming to say hello. So many in the comments have much to say about this video. One commenter says, I wished i saw life in the exact same way as the girl who doesnt have any anxiety around the orcas which really makes you think about how anxious anyone should be around a whale. Another says, Thats a humpback- theyll go out of their way to protect other sea creatures from sharks and orcas, I promise it was just curious which makes this video even more heartwarming as we watch the whale being curious with the paddleboarders. When it comes to Gods creatures, not all of them are safe for us humans to be around. However, in this case, it appears they are more a wonder than anything else. This pair of paddleboarders got to experience quite a treat when they spotted the whale so close to where they were. It is marvelous to witness animals in their natural habitat, and thats exactly what they got to see. It is a reminder of Gods creation and how amazing this world and everything in it can be. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! - Psalms 8:6-9
